Photography/gallery exhibit space?

Hi there,

I'm currently looking for a photography/gallery exhibit space that is available in december most likely for a week nothing longer, the days may get shorter due to budget.

It's for a 7 numbered team of students wanting to exhibit our work.

I have looked around the major places but prices and bookings are getting in the way, if anyone knows anywhere would really help us out

Was it specifically a gallery you were after?

Or have would a local restaurants or wine bars displaying the art for you do the trick? They get some new art up for a while for nothing and you just field any calls of interested parties.

Have you looked at shop units that are currently empty - more of them about these days and I'd imagine that landlords would welcome a bit of rent.

Good option- Look into a pop-up shop. Approach a few shopping centres or landlords of vacant shops in the area you would like to trade and see what they can do- If you have a couple of different options make sure you play them off against one another
