Personalised children's clothing regulations??

Hey everyone

I am looking at starting up selling personalised clothing, specifically childrens clothing and sleep ware.

I was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction regarding fire and chemical regulations? In beginners terms as I'm struggling to get my head around all the different variations of the rules.

I have read childrens clothing do not need testing just 'keep away from fire' labels but I'm not sure how true this is and trading standards want £100+VAT per hour for business support. But I'm not really a business yet to afford that.

If anyone has any advice or can share what they do for the same/simular business I would be extremely grateful.

If you are sourcing the products from UK suppliers they are likely to have all the correct labels.

When you say customised do you mean Print on Demand of actual customised clothing (manufacturing) as that would obviously change the requirements
