Not business related but i thought this might be the place to ask.
I'm looking to get a small personal loan of around 7K but its what to tell the finance company the loan is for, to give the greatest chance of it being approved and where to go for it.
The reason for the loan is to do some work on a house we are about to move in to. Figuring its easier to get a few things done now rather than once we've moved in. You would think we would tell the finance company the actual reason we want the loan but we are in a weird situation. We have been bought a house so essentially its our house but for certain reasons the house isn't in our name. From a finance point of view we have no rent and no mortgage so that's great.
Basically I just need a bit of advice on the easiest way to get a personal loan to do this work when the house isn't on paper ours.
