I would really appreciate some feedback from Forum members as to how :-

- You are currently processing your Payroll ( in-house / external company / accountant ) ?

- Can you answer your employee's & third party enquiries correctly ?

- Are you making the correct payments over to the Inland Revenue ?

- Are you happy you payroll produced accurately to current Inland Revenue legislation ?

- Would you like more detailed reports extracted from your payroll ?

- How do you find Tax Year End procedures ?

- What are your initial thoughts to an Outsourced payroll service ?

- What would you expect to pay for a payroll service ?

We process in house. With good software (TAS Payroll) it's easy and quick, even I can do it when my book keeper has a holiday! As things stand I would regard outsourcing as the expensive option.

End of year is no problem either. The only fly in the ointment is P11D, where we have nothing to declare other than re-imbursed genuine expenditure, but nevertheless have to declare it. I await our dispensation from IR to remove this nuisance.

Thanks very much for the feedback there.

One point interests me though *** PRICES ***

Our prices start from as little as £ 15.00 per pay period (up to 12 employees).

What kind of prices have you been quoted or are aware of ?

It sounds like you're well on top of your payroll function - give me a call if things change in the future.

Not sure on current prices as it's more than five years since I started the company and decided to have the book keeping (not accountancy) function in house.

Dim recollection though of being quoted considerably more than your £15, which sounds a bargain to me, at less than one half per cent of the likely weekly payroll value.

£ 15.00 per pay period (up to 12 employees) to include :-

- Pay slips.
- Full reporting.
- Accounts postings detailed.
- PAYE payments detailed. (for yellow book transcription)
- All 100% reconciled and checked prior to dispatch.

A cost effective Payroll solution, with efficiency and accuracy a priority everytime.
