hi, until my website is up and running for my new business i want sell some stock on ebay.
i have made a business ebay account and have set up a paypal account.
what i want to know is do i have to use a business paypal account or will a normal one be fine?
my main worry is if either paypal or ebay close either accounts and if using a normal paypal account with a business ebay account is allowed.
if it helps i sell video games and will only use the paypal account for ebay and will only use both accounts for business as to not confuse matters.
any help from your own experiences is very much appreciated!
thank you

I'd open a business account, it doesn't cost any extra and would save time down the line if you do ok. They may well let you know but when paypal require you to do something they tend to hold funds as a way of making you do it quicker!
It also opens the possibility of better rates (on application they don't give you better rates automatically!) or even a micropayments account option if that would work out better for you fees wise.
Keep your business and personal account separate is my advice, it's too tempting to buy something on the business account then have to account for it at a later date when you're working out your taxes!

You should really look at up grading to a premier account, a business account isn't really needed unless you need limited access by other employees.

You can have two PayPal accounts, a personal one and a premier or Buiness account. Makes things nice and easy to keep transactions seperate.

Running a business on a personal account is quite possible, but you may find you run into limitations further down the line if you start taking a serious sums of money.
