Is there a reason why you don't accept PayPal? There are many other similar services to PayPal such as Stripe, however with these and even getting a merchant account you will not receive the money instantly as you do with BACS and PayPal.
People are probably asking about PayPal due to the buyer protection they get, which they don't get when they pay via BACS.
If the fees are an issue you can always add these onto your prices.
