Hi all,

We have today received a demand for payment of £1600+VAT from Experian Business Express a service we never heard of until today.

On further digging, it appears that it is riskdisk and the phone number provided is linked to riskdisk rather than Experian. On further checking, it appears that riskdisk was taken over by Experian some few years back.

It also threaten to begin court proceeding and suspend our credit rating (whatever that means - we don't borrow money anyway).

My guess now are either this is an administrative error or an case of identity fraud - which is rather ironic given that Experian Business Express claims that is there to prevent fraud.

Anyone has similar issue?

Thanks.

Thanks kickstartbtm

Contact seemed to matched those on Experian Business Express website / that of riskdisk and payment is asked for via a Bank account transfer rather then paypal western union of that sort.

They are closed over the weekends obviously and wondering if the error/scam affects more than just us.

More details will obviously only become available on Monday.

Thank you.
