Yesterday I came back to my office to a flood - destroyed the office computer and destroyed the backup hard drive attached to the router

All submissions were sent to HMRC up to 10/03/17, so there is only a couple of submissions to go. The only employee is me (The director)

What are my options?

Thanks for any help guys :)

HMRC PAYE web site will have all of your submissions. Log on to your HMRC online services page and open your PAYE statement.
If you copy the RTI Table you can paste it into a SS.

Download a new version of the RTI software and re-enter the payments, add the two un-submitted ones and you're up to speed.

The HMRC help line is quite good if you get stuck, or if you are unsure.

Hope this helps.

Hi Guys

I'm just getting around to this now I have replaced the office PC this weekend

I've reinstalled PAYE Basic Tool - now I'm just adding me as the only employee (director). There is the following option...

> Have you already paid this employee since 6 April 2016?

Should I say yes to the above and then add only the remaining payments (it is only 03/03 onwards, so only 5 FPS left this financial year)? Or do I have to say "no" and add all payments throughout the 16/17 tax year?

If yes to the above, there is the following...
  • Total pay to date in this employment : I have entered total wages up to 03/03
  • Total tax to date in this employment : I pay no tax, but there are NI Payments (Employee & Employer). Do I include the NI payments here or just put £0?
Thanks in advance :)

I would put in pay and tax to the date of the last payment. You need this to calculate the correct tax on your next payment. NI is on a per payment basis so you don't need to enter previous figures for this. HMRC will already have the previous information.

You could also just pay yourself on a Week1/Month1 basis. HMRC will then send you the correct figures for future deductions.
