Hi all, I feel I'm quite good at direct selling and have done canvassing for a few years now and looking to get some customers (not leads) for local paving companies going door to door. I have a few general questions about the paving sector especially block-paving if anyone can answer:
Also, I asked about the small repair jobs as to give me a better understanding of what to expect and whether I'd need to establish a minimum fee and how that could also be fair. It would be easy to say oh I want £200 for a customer but you mainly only get repair jobs with a profit of £100.
I know there's a million variables like location, season etc but if you can help with any insights on what to expect that would be great. Thanks
- What is the average project value for installs?
- Do you get a lot of repair only jobs? what value are these?
- What would be a fair ballpark commission for us both if I hand you a paying customer? e.g. Would 10% of net invoice be good, too low, too high?
