Parcel stuck UK customs

Ordered some stuff from china by TNT and this is what track shows already for some while.. When calling to tnt they says its still at the customs.. So what they can do so long? No letter received or other info from customs.

What they can inspect so long?

Always takes ages... couple of weeks I find. I reckon they just leave the box in a pile! THere may be an additional customs charge - a % of the value of whatever you have bought

In box there are some calcium in powder form, yeah have imported before everything was fine..
Should i call them? Value like 15 usd

I have had "normal" stuff of about £50-60 value stuck in customs for nearly 3 weeks before.

You could find that white powder takes a bit longer to clear though!
