Parcel 2 Go Help

What a joke of a service so far. I booked a courier service for monday but wasn't on the correct PC at the time to print off at time of booking. As with other courier sites like this i expected the documents i.e label, customs invoice would be sent to my email to print off but it wasn't.

So i go to check there contact and for some reason it won't let me past with the details. I can't login as it won't accept any username or reset my password without the correct username(not email like every other forgotten password function uses).

They have no phone number or email address on the site. Any way to contact these people ? Searched google but all the numbers don't work.

Phoned directory enquirys and they gave me a number but that rings once then just goes off.

Never have i had so much trouble trying to contact an internet company before.

Hi mate,
I found the live chat very helpful, the helped me out several times. You are right though they don't do phone calls.
Also they always sent the label to print to my email, so that's strange they haven't sent you it. If you go to track a parcel and enter a fake code, it will say that they can't find the parcel and give you the option for live help chat. Keep trying on different times of day as I think they don't operate all day. Once you get them on live chat they will help you out. Gd luck!

Thanks for the reply:).

Unfortunately i tried that, but all it says is the tracking is wrong. Doesn't give me any option for live chat sadly.

Absolute joke that they don't have an easy way to contact, i certainly won't be paying any penalty when fedex arrive on monday.

In that case (it's worth a shot)
Try emailing [email protected]
Or switch quality with info or couriers or all three!
Keep us posted

Appreciate the help mate thanks:), have emailed them.

Will update, either way won't be recommending or using again not the hassle i need first thing on a Saturday :D.

Ive had courier services that don't always send the documents for a few days, but to be so difficult to contact isn't acceptable with a service that often needs quick help.

Parcel2Go are the WORST courier company out there. Their "help" is diabolical and woefully bad, also generally rude too.

They break the law in so many ways like failing to provide address or telephone number when asked, breaching the supply of goods and services act on most occasions.

They think that 5 days to deliver a next day service is acceptable - needless to say I disagree and so do my bank so they are refunding the charges as Parcel2Go refuse to.

Avoid at all costs.

Interesting. I have used them a few times now and never had a problem. Maybe I've just been lucky. I did sent a parcel to Eire recently which was sent next day but stopped for regular inspection by customs so it arrived a day late. Without any prompting they offered to refund the courier cost in full.

You see, the moment you mentioned Parcel 2 Go I knew where this one was going.

Muppets.

Except the muppets, on their day, were funny.

There's nothing funny about Parcel 2 Go.

You can try [email protected] as a possible contact.......although that appears to be a ficticious person whose mailbox is dealt with by whatever minimum wage lackey is on "support" that day.

Thanks for the help guys.

I got a reply from the email CroydonLeaflets supplied and it said it would be sent to the right department. Anyway that was yesterday afternoon and still no documents sent through. I have emailed again, asking what is going on.

Fedex are due to turn up tomorrow morning and i really don't know what to do. One thing for sure is they can get stuffed on me paying the penalty fedex may issue for not being prepared. Looks like i am going to have to facebook them later on tonight if still no reply, what a joke lol.

EDIT: I have emailed the katherine address provided also cheers.(Damn it bounced back).

Hi - have you tried the following (I've just done it on my account and I reached the paper work I need to print.)

Go to the P2G website.

Near the top of the page, on the right hand side it says "My Account" click on the link below this that says "Go to My Account"

You should now be prompted to enter your p/word etc. and then you arrive at a new page,

On this page click the "My Orders Tab"

You should get a box with my recent orders.

Click on the order number (this may not seem like a normal link - the text doesn't change colour etc. and the mouse pointer changes into something that looks a bit like a capital I, but it is a link)

A boxx then appears below the link you've just clicked and on the right hand side is a picture of a printer and a link that says "Print Documents" Click on this and the documents should open as a PDF in a new window ready for you to print.

Hey Jeff,

Thanks, yeah i have tried that. I can't get in because it isn't accepting any username i would normally use. Now i tried to use the forgotten password but instead of every other normal reset password function that asks for your email, this one asks only for your username.

Which leaves me stuck again. No email back still either.

We use www.interparcel.com, 99/100 they are brilliant. We get small parcels sent with Hermes for 3.99.
We send high value items UPS, which is usually next day, this is 7.99.

Website, labels, invoices all really user friendly. Give them a try.

Id usually use interparcel as they are reliable, but the difference of the cheapest courier was £31.40 on parceltogo and £37.00 on interparcel.

Although now i wish i had just went with interparcel, i have sent another email. No response.

Have facebooked them.

To Thinehost who mentioned there facebook well done, if it wasn't for that they wouldn't have contacted back.

I just kept getting automated emails from the info address saying to login to my account lol:rolleyes:.

They seen my facebook message and sent me the labels quickly. All in all still a very hard company to get in contact with if you have to find their facebook.

No next day courier service is fail-safe although from experience, most are 99% reliable. If you need a cast-iron guarantee that something is going to arrive then really you have to consider driving it point to point directly with a same day van and swallowing the cost.

Parcel 2 Go are a broker so the chain of communication is elongated. If you want a higher level of customer service then best to book with a courier directly where you get a direct contact number etc but unless you are sending volume, it costs more.

It all comes around to the fact that you get what you pay for.

Parcel 2 go are not couriers, they are just brokers, effectively booking the couriers on for you at discounted rates. I used to use them, never had any problems, moved to use p4d who post on this forum who are cheaper and I prefer their website. You would never get this kind of problem with their site.

Thanks Kulture :) Yes, we have a Customer Support team here on the phones/email during the day and on email late in to the evening with emails also monitored at weekends. You can meet us all at http://www.p4d.co.uk/team.

Appreciate the recommendation.

If that's the case and p4d are on this forum I will give them a go. I have to send 5 very important parcels at the end of next week for next day delivery.

We certainly are - we have Next Day services for collection, but also a Drop Off service with Parcelforce. You can drop off until 7pm at 52 depots across the country :) If you're shipping in large volumes please see http://www.p4d.co.uk/pro for cheaper rates. Thanks!

My issue wasn't the speed of contact, the problem was that the company were impossible to get in contact with if the username or details weren't accepted by their system to get into the account area. These are routine basics of any e-commerce business.

No phone number, email address or alternative route of contact is why i ended up having to contact them via facebook.

Do you provide any services which have a timed pickup (e.g. pre-12:00 pickup)?

The overnight or next (working) day delivery services have hi-jacked the name "Courier" to apply to their Hub & Spoke delivery systems.

A "Courier" used to mean that the same person who collected the item (no need for extensive packaging) either hand delivered it himself or handed it to an assosciate to deliver directly to the intended recepient, if problems occurred they would be sorted out there & then because the courier would not have another 80 parcels to deliver and would not begin another job until a satisfactory POD had been obtained.

An extra 5 minutes spent using a telephone or obtaining extra information when address details are incorrect is easily accomodated when a dedicated same-day collection & delivery has been requested & paid for.

An extra 4 minutes spent on every consignment by the delivery driver for an overnight parcel service would extend the driver's working day from 10 hours to over 15 hours

I believe that 80 % of next day delivery problems are down to inadequate preparation (contact details and packaging) by the sender.

Parcel2go is cheap but when I used it the collections were by local people in their own cars (tho' that's probably down to the individual courier co's involved)......Someone put me on to another similar website that has a special deal with UPS. Everyone speaks well of UPS. I think they are good tho' not cheap ...but that website has some kind of arrangement where they charge a lot less than usual (I had a lot of trouble with DHL btw but they did -eventually- pay for the damaged goods!)..I have used this a few times and it was good and economical..But sorry can't find the link or remember the website name (have switched computers)....I'll come back later!

This forum allows a bunch of sharks to post here claiming to be a proficient outfit?

FFS.

If this poster is genuine, I'd appreciate his or her comments on case [P2G-CS-391389] 5070593.

What happened to my 20kg, 22" x 22" x 20" box?

How can you "lose" something that size?

Could you confirm who you booked that box out with?

I could be wrong (I often am) but that looks like a Parcels 2 Go number

Kulture was recommending Parcels 4 Delivery (who are on this forum)

The names are similar and easy to confuse - some strong statements are being made, I think it important that we clarify the details to avoid any misunderstanding.
