Paper for leaflets

I want to print some leaflets but i'm drawing a blank with regards to paper.

I want something thin and smooth (glossier than normal paper) available for a reasonable price in A4.

Any recommendations?

Check out ebay for xerox 120gsm gloss, if you are printing on a home printer, this will be quite a good stock. Otherwise check out my website for some great prices.

Yes, plenty of printing company guys on here! I'm just into t-shirt printing, so if you need any of that, give me a shout!

I prefer the A6 300gsm glossy card flyers myself. They stay still better when stacked!

Try a 115gsm gloss art if you want something light.

My standard flyers are printed on 135gsm silk coated paper, I also do postcard/thicker flyers on 350gsm silk coated art board.

Have you researched competitors in the market, find out what size, weight, type of paper, colour, etc they use?

Once you have decided on the leaflet requirements you can then get quotes from printers ... there seem to be plenty on this forum.

See the blog entry on 12th July entitled Paper and Card for print. You will find most printers on here use those stocks, or variants of them, as basic ones though there are a myriad different stocks available and the "weight" of the stock can be misleading as different finishes will change the feel of the paper a great deal.

Budget, size, intended use, etc. all would sway what type of paper I'd advise you to use. Tell us a bit more information and I or any of the other printers on here will gladly point you in the right direction.
