Just a simple website

Hi everybody

Does anyone know where I might be able to get cardboard boxes, for posting various items, from? I don't want vast quantities and want to be able to order mixes sizes. On ebay it seems you have to buy a minimum of ten of the same size to get a half decent price whereas I might want about five each of seven different sizes. Does anyone know of a supplier who can do this?

Thanks very much

I have to order a pallet load of custom sized boxes to get even a half decent price, it is a right pain!

In my experience you will struggle getting anything custom made at smaller levels. I spent quite some time on this a few years back and although I managed to make significant savings on this I did have to buy larger quantities to achieve it.

Almost any Office Products Dealer can help you. Look at this wholesalers website for what you want. Its a generic one showing maximum retail prices and you cannot buy from them, but one of their Dealers will give you discounts on these prices. Delivery should be within 48 hours. If you cant find a Dealer, tell me where you are and I will try and give you some names.

    Then go to

Facilities Management > Mailroom & Warehouse > Packing Materials

Most of our cardboard come from waste packaging from local retailers so doesn't cost us anything. We spoke to them a year or so ago and many were happy to let us have this. My husband drives round the local industrial estate every couple of weeks to pick up. He has also become an expert at making up boxes!
