Anthony - AJB Consultancy

Hi All,

So what started as a joke over a beer has now got me intrigued.

I am now working with companies in a consultancy capacity to help drive growth utilising years of business development experience.

Ive met new start ups and existing companies who hate the thought of meetings.

So, would you outsource new business meetings ?

The term 'meetings' can mean anything. Are you talking meetings with potential customers ? existing customers ? suppliers ? accountants ? staff ?

If you mean with potential customers then there are plenty of self-employed sales agents which thousands of companies decide to use.

Personally, I wouldn't outsource any of my meetings simply because no one knows my business as well as I do.

Then they shouldn't be in business.

If you want to run a business, you have to talk to people, get to know them, get a measure of who they are and what they are capable of. Business is all about people! Get to know them and you might just get their business!

I know of start-up who have developed apps to make meetings more efficient. They're mostly email, messaging, or project management apps that organize tasks, communications and projects to minimize meetings or make them more efficient.

I have never heard of outsourcing meetings before. But if you can explain better how that would work, there might be some potential in that idea.
