Ok, so we have a successful hairdressers, and are thinking of taking on a lease for another property. The property is located in an outlet mall, and due to planning restrictions connected to the development of the site, we have to have a retail sales offering that uses more space than the hairdressing side of the business.

Currently our main clients are in the 25-35 age bracket, 70 % male and 30% female,.

We are considering the retail of clothing, but are struggling to define our target market.

What age group do you, as an individual, feel shop the most at outlet malls, and what type of clothing should we be offering?

Thanks in advance, this one is driving me crazy :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone... so i told a small lie, we are not actually in the hairdressing business, but rather something that could be considered quite similar. I am scared of being to open on a public forum. When we entered the local market we were unheard of, and now we are doing quite well, but its been hard work, and each time we do something innovative or new, our competitors, most of whom are at least 30 miles away, do exactly the same. ASs they are bigger and more established, they get a greater benefit while investing little in the time and energy it takes to do something that has yet to be attempted. This time I am keeping my cards well hidden.
