Optimum level of salary 2012/13

Just a quick one, what is the new rate (2012/13) that directors of a Limited company should pay themselves in order to stay below tax and NI threshold but still gain some NI credit?

If you wanted to keep under the threshold for employer's NI (£144/week), the most you could pay is £624/month (or £7,488/year).

This is correct....I'm suffering from digital dyslexia!!!

However i could try partial bluffing by saying that as directors are charged NI on a cumulative basis you could pay £634 per month until last month and pay (£514) or £7488 in first month and nothing subsequently........worth a try?.....No thought not
