Opening a shop

You just need to have thousands of those items that people say they will be back later for and you have got it made.

No you don't, just that one item that all those people who walk 2 feet into the shop, look round for 2 seconds, say "no they won't have it" and walk out again are looking for. When you have that one item you'll be made for life :D

Do a mindmap of all the things everyone really needs (not wants) in life and after you have realised that 99.9% of those things have already been invented or re-invented you just might come up with an idea that nobody else has thought of. Good luck though because I've been doing this for flippin years. Everything has been done over and over again. I need some new ideas so if you come up with anything unique remember me first and i'll go 60/40 with you

Almost right, I have made a lot of money buying the latest things and selling them quickly, you always have to be ahead and you cannot get pre-occupied with the current selling status, otherwise you miss the next thing.

Well said sir, you need to be on the ball and constantly moving otherwise you are left selling the "last thing" rather than the "latest thing". I wouldn't recommend you start out with the "latest thing" as by the time you are trading you'll be out of date. Maybe add the "latest thing" to a more stable range.

Our of curiosity what is the next big thing ;)

Don't tell anyone, but I know what you should sell in order to make millions...

Listen though, this is just between you and me.

So keep it on the hush, know what I mean.

In this current Climate? Eh there's not much you can do to make 'loads of money' apart from street corners maybe. Cost's are low

Not so easy as you may think. Never has been. I remember when I was about 16 and a group of us went to Southend on a Sat. About 9 pm I saw a lady of the night eating a bag of chips in a shop doorway just past the Kursal

Obvious what she was from her state of undress albeit a little too obvious so being somewhat gallant while my mates just laughed I shouted over to her.

"Hey miisis. Do you know your nickers have fallen down around your ankles."

She replied. "Oh has he gone. Didn't realise Thanks boys"

Quick hitch up and she carried on eating her chips. Poor gal never had time to take a break for something to eat.

Don't know about inventing an electric cheese grinder. Too many on the market to patent.

On the other hand. I am sure the government might be interested with a modern day chastidy belt. Solve the unmarried teenage mother problem overnight:rolleyes:
