I run a live events company but have always used pre existing venues for such

As of the 4th July, the venues CAN open again, but live performances cannot

What are your thoughts on a "pop up venue" using stretch tents and arranged seating?

Would you feel safe?

The local councils are being stretched on these events. Locally, the cinema events are licensed and ready to go, but the ones with live music are being tricky. The licence was dangled subject to putting screens between performers and audience, but then it was pointed out the people were in their cars, so what would the point be? Rethink by council rep and OK'd. Then the stage area enlarged to allow the band to be 2m apart - no real issue, but now they've re-read the new guidance and brass is out. They're worried about the status of things like brass, but different. Is a soprano sax or clarinet the same as brass, but is a tenor or alto sax safe? Councils have lots of powers over outside events, and one critical one is noise - so expect noise limits to be tighter than usual. Marquees aren't as far as I know treated as open air - but enclosed spaces.
