Hi,

We're a small production company looking to increase our reach.

I wondered if anyone could recommend any online places to post our services? Like People Per Hour and such.

We're based in East Anglia, UK.

And any other tips to increase our foothold in the market and expand.

Many thanks

Thank you for your thoughts.

Yes, we use After Effects a lot. Some examples below.

We're all over social media. We've got a great reputation and backed up with both Bestofnorwich and LinkedIn recommendations. We get a lot of referrals for business and have made some great connections with agencies who pass us business.

We're just not getting enough business.

We're producing our own animation and applying for a loan to further get ourselves out there - just wondered if I am missing anything in terms of getting ourselves seen. Just registered for Creative Cow Services, so anything like that would be great.

Here are some samples of our work:

We've got plenty more. Tried to embed video below, but no way of doing so on this forum :/.

I would go back to the original marketing plan you developed when you started your business.

What worked well? What didn't work so well?

How much do you know about your existing and potential customer base and the best communications you can use to engage them?

What sort of clients are you working with? What are you currently doing to promote yourselves to your existing customer base and encourage them to promote you to their contacts?

What more could you be doing to promote yourselves to your target customer base?

You could update your profile on UKBF so that people can view your website?

Optimise your YouTube videos for SEO using key words, and replies and including your website URL in the description if you upload them to your own channel. (e.g. the Christmas one)

Check out www.reelseo.com for inspiration. Use your content to drive business.

People per hour is OK. But don't devalue your services! Compete on quality not price. And perhaps develop our own unique video style. Your videos are very good but the same style as many others.

I get a lot of business via People Per Hour - specifically the 'Hourlie' section.

Previous comments about offering your services at a discounted rate should be taken into consideration - stick to your rate card prices and write enticing copy and include your favourite production video as an example of what you offer.

People will pay the price tag if you offer quality work and demonstrate your previous examples.

Good point, not everyone on the freelancing sites are cheap, also use your entry offers...think sales funnel
