Online human resources help/advice?

    I need some H.R. help and advice.

    @Newchodge does this sort of thing :)

    I was thinking an online supplier would be convenient.
    Speaking from experience, other than accessing some basic templates to download and edit, I tend to use a HR consultant in a more consultative way. Work with them to understand my business and they provide the input tailored to what I want and need, but others may be happy to use a more 'virtual' service.

    I would echo that - a lot of small firms go with an online provider and find it quite inflexible plus eventually quite expensive for what it is.

    Find a newchodge (either Cyndy or an equivalent) and you actually get someone who knows what they are talking about (as opposed to a glorified FAQ's). Also with HR issues it usually comes down to weighing up risks and the years of real world experience is worth it's weight in gold in helping you make decisions.
