Online Forum - Out of ideas

This may sound silly

But I am actually got an vbulletin forum up and running.
I am out of ideas..
What would be the content,

I am open to all suggestions..
My aim is to bring traffic and make some litle cash through adsense

The classic example of putting the cart before the horse.

You need something that you are a good moderator for (e.g. a topic you understand) and that you can market in order to get participants.

I had the vbulletin licence for last 10 years. ( I did not spent any extra money ) - Just $10 to host it.
I had a successful forum long time ago - which had movie related stuff.
There is no hope in that topic now..

I was just wondering if anyone here would possibly know any area that has potential.
I do have great interest in forums and have the required knowledge to run it.

But what i lack is idea...

Are forums worth it? Yes I know I'm on one but it's not busy. I used to be on a very big forum and it was a big part of our lives back then... Yes back then. Part of history now. Social media has changed that even though it doesn't compare really.

I think Facebook groups stole the forum market years ago.. I'm just on here because Clints' comments brighten my days...

Completely agree

There is no interest so far.

I guess i will save myself from wasting my time and effort.

Back in the days it was lit.. I had a forum with 40k+ members and had a descent revenue//
But hosting was expensive.

These days hosting is very cheap but its not worth the effort

It sounds like you'd be happy putting 10 random names in a hat and picking one. Why not just do that instead of asking here?

Try looking at the "Bounce Back Loan" thread in the Covid-19 forum as that is very busy although it's mainly people posting every fifteen minutes that they haven't got their money yet
