Ola! 'Web designer' getting all grown up!

I'm a 33 year old web designer who's being dragged kicking and screaming into mainstream sales and marketing by my co-director! I have a serious creative streak but I'm getting involved more in traditional sales and marketing so I'm doing plenty of research on search engine marketing, link building and generally seeing what is going on out there that counts as 'web marketing'.

I'm also on the lookout for others with really unique, exciting ideas, unusual advertising methods and who want to explore new web business ideas.

Oh, and I'm mad about Manchester United and U2!

SEO is actually a brilliant subject to study, because there as so many elements to it. I spent around 6 months studying the subject after being ripped off by other companies. Providing SEO services is a good market for companies who are honest in what they do.
