Norton 360

I have used Norton products for a number of years now, all to my complete satisfaction.

However, I installed Norton 360 two days ago, and although my PC has never been one of the fastest, it must now be the slowest. This is made worse when Norton 360 is doing its 'Email scanning is in progress' in the background (which takes for ever), regardless of whether or not I'm in Outlook.

Also, when logging on to this Forum just now, I got a 'Stack Overflow at Line:0' warning...what's that mean?

Any comments on this particular product, good or bad and any ideas how to maybe disable the constant "Email scanning".

Norton is reknowned for hogging resources - but you should still be able to run your machine (albeit definitely slower).

Check through your settings and ensure that not too much is scheduled for when you are actually using the PC (eg. Scan machine during the night, etc). Also, ensure that you only have turned on the options you require.

If your PC was a bit slow to begin with, then maybe it needs some sort of cleanup done too.

I actually contacted Symantec (yesterday Sunday), and they sent me the following. However, even though I've done all what they've suggested, and done various clean-ups...nothings changed!
