Hi

I am looking for someone in North London so I can have face to face contact with. The website will need to have an e-shop to sell tickets to events at different prices and not just (if at all) paypal. I quite like the look of Nochex. Will also need various pages to showcase events.

As it will be e-ticketing, the site will need to able to generate e-mail attachments for downloading and printing. I have tried searching these pages and the web generally, but very hard to find reviews.

Finally is it common practice to ask for 50% up front, because that is not appealing.

After having being let down when we had done a job we have switched to asking for 50% upfront, that way the customer is not going to allow you to finish the job only for them not to pay. I would be very suprised if a company does not ask for an initial deposit before starting then job the deposit helps cover design etc.

I don't mind paying a % on % delivery. But 50% up front sounds unusual. My builder, might ask for something for initial raw material purchase but that woud be backed up by receipts. If you are worried about non-payment then a contract and a claim online at small claims court for £25 deals with that. Any other comments about finding reviewed providers, or is it a case of trawling websites til I find one I like and asking the owner about the designer?

This sounds like something Cyber-Duck would be able to help you with. Check out our showcase and if you like what you see give us a call - ask for Jerome (our new business manager). We are based in Borehamwood, so should be close to you.
if you don't mind me asking how much would Cyber-Duck approximately charge for the site similar to http://www.viniferaboutique.com/store/ ?
