Can somebody tell me what a Non-Competency Agreement is? How are these used and why would somebody need one?

A Non-Competency Agreement is a clause in the employment contract of every local council worker in the UK. The clause states that they MUST be totally incompetent and incapable of doing the job they are paid to do, plus generous holiday and pension allowances.

Hmm...it does say 'Non Competency Agreement' - perhaps they mean Non-Competition Agreement?

It's from a contractor - they are giving me this and an NDA?

Non-compete agreement, along with an NDA, makes more sense. Spelling mistake???
