No wireless after replacing laptop screen - groan

It is seeing the router but not others in the area and then when I try to connect it says no joy immediately

It suggests something that I have done in the process though I am pretty sure I was gentle

Any pointers for anything I should be looking out for or to investigate

What kind of laptop are you using?

I can remember my Dell Latitude had the WiFi antenna wiring built into the screen housing. Might be worth opening up the housing and checking nothing has come loose.

Samsung R780 so probably something in the lid

I would always check that the wireless card is properly seated, and that the antenna is connected properly.

did you turn the wireless off? stating the obvious but on newer laptops there's a button to turn it off/on.

Did you remove the antenna when you put the new screen in? worth opening up the bottom and checking they're still connected.
