So, I'm a Londoner living in China. I'm currently teaching English at a university in Wuhan, Hubei. This has been a great experience so far, but it's not a passion of mine and I feel like I should take the opportunity of being a Brit in China to help UK businesses carry out any dealings they may have with Chinese companies as smoothly as possible. I'm here to find out as much as possible and to maybe network with anyone who may need some kind of representative for their company that they can rely on over here in China.

Can you provide some information about the local customs there? Do Chinese translate foreign names? Is it what "LiSenXi" stands for?

They do translate our foreign name. My English name is Martin, there version is Ma Ding. Li Sen xi is a given name to me meaning west forest (wild west).
