New to UKBF but keen to help!

Hi everyone,

I'm Sue Clark - based in Kidderminster in sunny (occasionally) Worcestershire in the UK.

I'm a seasoned networker in person but fairly new to online networking but this looks kind of fun.

I run MTT (UK) Ltd an international translation and interpreting agency covering mostly technical fields but also legal, commercial and marketing. This is a passion of mine - I've been here 22 years now and can't see me ever doing anything else.

I'm looking to help out if anyone has a language query and hopefully gain some ideas from all you seasoned posters.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

I have a friend who is wanting to set up a translation service (well something near to but I won't go into detail), but with what he has and the ideas he has, I can't find a way to make it earn enough money! No matter how many times I look through the ideas he lays out.

The idea I think is good if you know how to make money from it, especially seeing as English people in general are not taught languages early enough/are ignorant and believe English is ok and everyone should speak it.

Anyway, just thought I would give my thoughts on the subject, good luck with your business venture and I hope you do well with it.
