New pay = new contract?

I had a pay increase in Jan, and I am also applying for a mortgage. I have Jans payslip, but have also been asked to provide a contract of employment to support it.

I've worked for the company for 6+ years, and my original contract doesn't represent the increased pay.

Do I get a brand new contract of employment written up with the new pay on? If so, what date would the contract have on it (i.e, the date of my original employment 6 years ago, or the date that my pay changed).

Any advice is welcome :)

A new contract is never issued for an annual pay rise. You should have a letter detailing your new rate of pay. That, together with your original contract, should suffice.
