I am wondering if anyone can please give me some recommendations for a new phone system in our office.
The company requires 32 handsets, all systems must be compatible with a BDM call recorder system and must not be VOIP.

Many Thanks

I understand the reason for not wanting voip
Most systems do voip internal but use analog external via isdn or plain analog lines to connect external so you really do not have it voip other than local means of connecting
freeswitch is very promising along with analog lines to connect to external lines.
This saves internal wiring and if you dont connect it to network its as good as analog arguably much more resources to utilize
I had done detailed research on this a few years back. If you need more assistance send me a private message and I could guide you further on where to look.
However I would start on freeswitch server first

Hi there,

Sounds like you're looking for a phone system over ISDN. We'd be happy to go through some options with you and gain a better understanding of your needs. We'd need to look into the call recorder compatibility but are very happy to do that too.

Please feel free to PM me your details and we can arrange a bit more of a chat!

We use VOIP - best thing we ever did and the quality is amazing. We handle about 1000 calls a day and its very reliable. Based on the Asterisk system. We have a leased line so the broadband is 100% which helps but we dont have any line rental so actually the leased line works out cheaper and gets us faster reliable broadband. Would certainly recommend you looking into it.
