I have noticed Xero allows you to email purchase ledger invoices direct into the software package. It seems only a recent addition but a bit of a time saver. There is a dedicated email address that suppliers can email their invoices direct.

I do like the option of uploading a copy of the purchase invoice when posting invoices to Xero.

Are you talking about Xero files? The email address that you can email a PDF to and then have it ready to attach to a supplier invoice? If so that's been knocking about for a while but I agree, amazingly helpful. Other providers do have something similar but I find emailing invoices a godsend.

They also have Xero Expenses which is a premium feature which costs £2.50 per month per user which enables auto receipt scanning i.e. you don't have to type stuff!
