Hi all.
Have been on the new enterprise scheme through job centre and have completed a business plan and cashflow.
As part of scheme was required to attend some seminars and have around nine weeks to start trading.
Have a business adviser and support for period, up to a year.
The regular route seems to be applying to British business bank, if financing is required, which in my case is needed, around £1500.
Problem is, ID. As part of application am required to supply ID in form of letters/ driving licence, something with national insurance and/ or date of birth.
Have uploaded around twelve letters, which sadly are not suitable, either because, for security reasons, national insurance number is starred out, or, date of birth is not included.
So, requested a letter from DWP, which included both, but this was not accepted as, it contained blank fields (Had to be put together as info' is on site)
Talk about frustrating.
Anyhow, explained to BBB that would have to request again, for suitable letter, but at this rate, might take another couple of months.
the last letter was uploaded over two weeks ago and have just been told today,, it was not acceptable.
So, please could anyoe point me in right direction to a friendly / helpful site that provides start up loans? Am employed, part time, and credit score is pretty good.
Many thanks.

Hey, thank you so very much.
Sure, ID a must (Have had to provide ID for several departments before, council, HMRC, employment etc which was a lot easier ) but the advice I recieved was most places accept screenshots etc, as letters of required nature are somewhat out dated.
All my letters, apart from the requested one, have details starred over or left out, Im told because of identity theft etc.
Employment centre were vey helpful in providing letter, which was made up from older templates.
Have contacted pension + to see if can get any help.
Cheers.

Hiya. Thanks for replies. Am a carer, so travel is not on list of things to do, also said online that might take over ten weeks, also cost a bit steep at this time. Shouldn't need it, as letters from DWP,HMRC or pension, amongst few others are listed as acceptable............unless of course for reasons mentioned earlier.Did find an older pension electronic letter, but dated 2019. Newer pension maybe will provide further letter.............hopefully.
Plus no guarantee that application will be successful.
Makes little difference at end of day, as have few sculptures at "plug" stage, and in couple of months can access funds through paypal. Yah!
Cheers.
