New domain name

I've just bought bestwindowcompaniesdotcom , Although i'm in the window industry i'm very much a small local firm. I was wondering what is the best way to take advantage of this domain .

I was thinking of some sort of site where i could maybe do some Adsense .

If this is the way to go how much would i expect to pay for someone to build me a pretty simple site to begin with , i don't mind adding things myself later and doing some SEO work.

Yeh , that's obviously an option , but i already have my own site and two other one page sites pointing towards the main one.

I thought this was a domain i could do something with nationally because of the words in the address.

But then i don't know an awful lot about domains , SEO and similar things , though i have done a little bit.

I would have thought that niche would be very low paying, so I don't think Adsense would pay off. It takes some seriously hard work to earn even a moderate amount of money with Adsense. You'd need 50,000+ visitors per month to even earn some pocket money.

That's simply not true, you could make a worthwhile £50 per month from 2-3k visitors a month. Do this across 10 or so sites and it starts to add up. With 50k visitors to one site you should be looking at making the best part of a grand unless you are doing something fundamentally wrong with layouts etc.

You should be able to get a simple blog style site on your domain and get it ranking in that niche for a few hundred quid assuming you have somewhere to host it?

Getting around £1,000 from 50,000 visits a month...could you give me an example site that achieves this?

It totally depends on the niche - mortgages, insurance, credit, law, e-commerce with great margins - maybe, but window cleaning, I'd be amazed.

Maybe create a directory of businesses who make windows
