New CMT Sewing company - advise needed

Hi, my name is Nick. My wife is professional seamstress with 13 years experience. She used to work for sewing companies before and now we have our own CMT Company (two seamstresses and pattern cutter), but the problem is we can't find enough work to keep us busy. Any ideas where to look for work? I'm looking all the advertising web sites and forums every day, but only found few small orders. Tried to contact some companies, but without any luck. Any advise will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Last two years my wife worked for another CMT company and they were very busy, so we decided to try to move to another level.

We know there is a market, just can't find it yet. The other company started the same way as we, with just 2 seamstresses and slowly grew up.

Market research should also establish where the business is, which would make it easier to target.

Not sure if its useful now, but I've seen so many 'pattern cutter' jobs on peopleperhour.com that I've considered learning it as a new skill!

I don't work for PPH before anyone asks - I know I mention them quite a lot!
