my name is Vittoria, I am a student working on a design project for a dictionary of contemporary communication and design related words.

I cannot find anywhere what we mean by 'new businesses'. Is it about innovative strategies? Is it connected to design and communication practices?

If anyone can help with a few words definition it would be great.

Thank you! I am italian. I do not think this matters though, as I perfectly understand english! Moreover, the project is about english words.

new business = nuovi affari
new businesses = nuovi affari

Nothing more or less than that. Maybe you are thinking something deeper?
