    That's ok not a problem. :)

So how many associates do you have?

It's all in the article I referred to :) Mind you it keeps increasing - got two more on board for September and working on October recruitment.

It's great how we are growing so fast - slow at first to get all the processes working for the Associates and now the momentum has really ramped up.

Being on line keeps our cost model down (cheaper fees to clients) and means we cover all of the UK and in fact Europe for UK company needs.

I think your model and our model can easily run alongside each other as respected competitors in the market place - don't you.

Ok I've trawled through it and the QBE link doesn't say how many associates you have as part of your network. Can you just say here to save time please?

The ACCA article does though - you must have a copy you are mentioned in it :)

If not just give me a call - happy to have a conversation with you but let's finish hijacking this thread now. :)

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for help / advice. I've been running my own marketing business for 2 years and now want to invest in a new venture.

I want to open an accountancy practise for small businesses and the self employed. I have no experience whatsoever in accounting and wondered if I'm still allowed to start a practise? I will employ accountants to do the number crunching and I will tout for business. This is similar to the tax assist franchise model - however, I want to start on my own and invest money into the company rather than a franchise scheme.

I'd appreciate any help on a) if it's legal for me to do this, b) do I need to register with any accounting bodies before trading c) has this been done before?

Only looking for advice on the accounting side, not new business start up advice.

Look forward to reading your replies.

    Hi Gogler

Not sure if anyone actually really answered your questions after all that.

    So here goes -

    a - Yes
    b - No
    c - Yes

    Best of luck:)
