How can i connect two networks with different IP addresses?

If there are two networks(different subnets) you'll need some sort of router. Either a dedicated one or a computer that's configured to route packages between networks.

Some further details would be helpful.

But if the other network was in Australia would we dig down or go around the outside?

Pretty much the standard I expect from UKBF these days.

Least it's not another "I've spent all the Corporation Tax money, how do I get away with not having to pay it back?"

Hmm can only run CAT5 up to 100m not sure if that will work. Would have to have a billion switches on the way ha ha.

All joking aside if its two local networks in the same building you should subnet them and use VLAN if appropriate. If they are 2 separate offices miles apart create an VPN tunnel between the sites.

This can easily be achieved using Draytek routers
