Networking events around Oxford?

I hope this is the right place to post this - Oxford is down as central southern England which puts me in a bit of a pickle when trying to choose the right regional forum!

Anyway, I've moved down here from way up North in Scotland - and I wondered if anyone knew of any good networking events I could go to around here?

Working from home as a content marketer can get a bit quiet (as you may well know, laptops aren't the best company) so would love to meet some knew faces

Witney has the Witney big breakfast, Witney is <15 mins from Oxford

4Networking have a big presence in Oxfordshire with meetings in Witney, Oxford and a Bicester to name a few. BNI also have a big ish presence too.

4Networking have meetings across the UK so should have something near you, if you google "town name business networking" it will give you a good idea of what is around your area plus also look into stuff such as the chamber of commerce who will do networking events.

There used to be an oxford meeting as I went along once, unfortunately it seems numbers dropped and wasn't viable to keep going or they struggled for venues (as 4N has a very strict pricing policy, they rely on "cheap" places to hire for their meetings.

I haven't been in 4N for a while now but seems that Oxfordshire has really struggled recently.

Yep, it certainly looks that way - my guess is it's also super hard to find anywhere cheap to hire in Oxford!
