It's a big thing, What measures do you have in place for your businesses?

Surely advising what measures you have in place could make you vulnerable to attack. I am sure your question is perfectly innocent but I would advise against anyone disclosing exact information as to the infrastructure/services they have in place...

The answer I will give ... depends after all if you dont connect a PC to the internet its still vulnerable as a rule a higher percentage of hacks are from within your organisation. If your a one man band then thats you so the risk is lower...each company will be different in their requirements. Mkae sure you gaurd each entrance point to your infrastructure. Be it EMail, instant messageing and media like cds and usb sticks. INstall virus and malware protections and most importanly back everything up. The rest is up to your requirements, password expiry etc etc. its a huge subject best bet buy a book on cyber essentials or one of the many sans books on this subject it will keep you busy for months!! or get a security consultant they save you reading the books

We don't have a connection to the internet and all data is stored on punched cards which have to be read in a random order which changes daily and isn't know by anyone.

Sure it slows us down a lot but it's nice and secure.

I think one of the best measures a company can use is a different approach to cloud computing. By the way, punching cards are prone to ripping, I think sculpting information into stone would be safer : )

After which all attendees have their memories wiped, so we never get anything implemented but you can never be too careful.
