Hey, it's great to know you want to find out more about it. Digital marketing is quite a broad spectrum, obviously you have marketing channels such as SEO, PPC but then you can branch out onto things such as content marketing to help with your strategy and create content such as blogs and web copy that will engage your audience. You've also got web development and graphic design, so you can program and create websites and graphics that will enhance your product or service, then there is social media and how you can outreach to your audience on social media channels and get involved in conversations. Social is also a great way to promote things as well. These can be accessible via mobile phones, tablets etc. Digital marketing enables brands to advertise through different forms, whether this is a device such as a mobile or one of the channels I have mentioned above.

As digital marketing is a huge and diverse topic, I'd recommend reading up on it to help you understand how granular it is. I can't send links at the minute, but a website called smart insights provides some great information about what digital marketing is. I've just covered the main parts, but I hope I have helped :)

Ok, so social media marketing relates to gaining exposure and traffic via social media platforms. We have the obvious larger platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin and then an array of other platforms that tend to have a specific focus such as Instagram and Pinterest which are used to post images, and others such as YouTube for videos.

Social platforms all tend to have an organic and paid side to them and can be used to help build relationships and push content out to a relevant audience, which in turn helps create awareness for the business and get the message out there. Typically, these platforms allow for the posting of short messages or status updates as the core activity (along with a raft of advertising options).

Ultimately, it just comes down to what is right for any given business or campaign. These are all tools that can be used if they are a good fit.

Hope that helps

Hi Richard,

There are several free digital marketing courses available online. Google has its own digital marketing course, it's obviously very Google-centric but gives you an overview of SEO, display, social, mobile, etc. and I find their courses really easy to follow.

I would also recommend joining some digital marketing news sites such as eConsultancy and The Drum.

Have fun! Debbie

Has anyone had a look at the OP's website? This is what's written in the about me page:

Richard Beese is an enthusiastic personality and a great player himself. He has played football for years for clubs, college and school. He was born and raised in London. After attending St. Margaret’s Catholic School, he went to Beacon High School, where he played 4 years of varsity football.

In his early years, Richard became affiliated with major league soccer, which is a London soccer club. He enjoyed playing there for almost 30 years.

He is very fond of travelling. Richard Beese treats travellers as a valuable journey no matter where the destination is. He enjoys the exotic locations and different cultures. “Traveling allows one to experience new surroundings and gives an opportunity to meet with different personalities. Having all the ingredients for making new memories and revisiting old ones. I does not matter where we are going, we should enjoy the journey because the journey is more beautiful and beautiful than destination.”

His passion is for fitness. Richard Beese is philosophical about fitness, he says that "It's a long process. We don't get in poor shape in a short period of time, and we don't get in great shape in a short period of time either.” Anyone can be fit, it just takes commitment.when you burn energy, you build energy.

He have a USSF nationally recognized coaching license to train players. He also plays for these teams when needed. He also taught Take Know Do to undergraduates at Yale University for three years.

I'm just intrigured - the website is clearly fake and made by someone who confuses the UK and the USA far too easily. But why? WHY? I need to know:eek:

Integrating your social media networks to your business is very important – it allows you to establish and publicize your brand, expand the reach within your target market, interact with your active users and send interesting information about your company to your desired audience.

All these elements will help you achieve growth. The benefit to many entrepreneurs of free social media networking platforms is huge as they allow you to regularly reach out to thousands of potential buyers.
