I am a newbie to this, I am opening a small shop selling used and new computer equipment also do repairs etc. I need terms and conditions any idea where i can down load these for free? what type of terms & conditions do i need? business to consumer the correct ones?

Doubt if you'll find free unless another similar business will let you have theirs. Even so, it's not wise simply to use someone else's dodgy set of terms and conditions.

But you should be able to find cheap with a template job that you can tinker with yourself. Trouble is they're usually around 9 pages long and full of legal fluff yet still missing the key clauses that will protect your particular business; clauses such as Seller's Lien and Unpaid Sellers Rights for when your customers don't pick up their goods left for repair.

There are free terms available on the businesslink website but only for general website terms (not e-commerce) and a Privacy statement.

If you're repairing computers then you need a specific set of Ts&Cs prepared by an expert not just a boilerplate from a website. What will happen when someone brings in their laptop for a screen repair and the HDD dies when you boot it? It will be your fault in the eyes of the customer!

The OP wants Ts & Cs for his shop where he is buying, selling and repairing other people's computers. DSRs do not apply.

josor above asked if Harry's shop was on-line or physical and Harry didn't respond to clarify so in fact my post was relevant and on topic and a good sensible option for consideration. It seems too many people on this site are too hung up about some possible commercial gain, if good solutions to an issue are presented that are on topic and not some kind of 'bot' flood of advertising what's the issue if it's offering help and is right for the end users its got to be good or are you saying don't make people aware of options that may save them time and money?
