Need help with my career

Hi everyone

I have a hard question for you, I hope you can help me.

I'm a Spanish citizen, and I'm in UK to try to find my way in finance. I know that accountancy is really important so here is my problem:

I studied business administration and management in Spain. According with Naric, my degree is comparable to a British bachelor (honours) degree standar. I know accountancy is not exactly the same, but is not too different. I am thinking in doing a course, master in acca, cima... but I do not know if I already have knowledge that could be the same as some of this courses or not.

Do you know how I could find the equivalence?

Also, I would like to know which kind of roles, I could apply to start my career in order to end up in finance.

You degree will have little resemblance to ACCA or CIMA. Especially on the taxation modules that are UK specific.

You may be able to gain exemption from some of the business/management papers in ACCA and CIMA, and perhaps so of the lower level exams if your degree contained some accounting/finance. Have you checked with ACCA and CIMA on exemptions?
