Hello,
I am starting a lead generation company in the financial services sector. I understand how to sell and organise the business but the authorisation part, I am finding overwhelming. My company will generate leads and send to other companies, we will receive a refferal fee. The company needs to be FCA regulated given though it's a marketing company. I need help with this part. Is there reliable affordable companies out there that can help. Thanks

I am starting a debt management refferal company and will use different companies to send leads to. I am looking to me directly authorised. My marketing to generate leads is amazing but to make money I need to be authorised, how would I go about doing this on a budget

I'm going through this right now after I stupidly missed the deadline for interim permission. Let me tell you that it's a bit of a nightmare application process. It's done online and starts off ok, but I'm now at the stage where it's asking for multiple P&L forecast spreadsheets, and my accountant is preparing my most recent accounts as they need to see these too.

I am expecting to pay roughly £1500 for the pleasure of being authorised, which is not too bad as I got a rebate of over £800 from my old CCL.

What is it you do that you need authorisation for? I'm guessing loan related if you used to have a CCL?

Up until recently I used an umbrella company for compliance. But they've pulled out of the market and comparable compliance was going to cost us anywhere from £5k to £17k a year, so it really screwed us over as we were only paying around £1k a year.

This was not for lead gen though, this was to run my own company. However, before they pulled the plug, I had just started making connection for some good referral commission for customers who were getting touch who were outside our area.
