need a laptop, recommendations?

Hi guys
I need a better laptop than my HP Probook, I have a sony viao that is better but the missus seems to have appropriated it. I am looking for one that will handle adobe creative suite that is sub £750.
Just looking for recommendations as a word of mouth rather than the sales guys. cheers guys

Go to a seconds shop, CEX or Cash Converters and you'll find a high spec second hand one for about £200. Dedicate it to the purpose, stop all automatic updates and you'll be laughing

I have an i3 Lenovo I paid £350 for last year. I also have Adobe CC and use Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro etc with no issues. Yes I could buy a £750 laptop to render video quicker but other than that I am more than happy with its performance.

Anything you buy at the £750 mark will be more than adequate for what you need.

Do some research on the software you need to run and see what the minimum spec is you can get away with. If you are doing heavy intensive graphics or video rendering, then an i7 processor will do you the world of good and will benefit you more than any other part of the laptops spec.

You can try a Dell Precision or XPS. These are performance based machine which will handle Adobe Suite without issues. You may also try for a good used one on ebay.
