Need a e-commerce designed

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to the forums.

You can post your request in the Tenders forum here:
http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/tenders.88/

I'd recommend giving some detail about what you're after, your budget for the website and overall budget, and the timescales you're looking at.

There are plenty of members who I'm sure would be happy to help and will respond and get in touch. Edit: Such as @finleydesign above!

We often recommend OpenCart as a platform, which is great if you want a traditional eCommerce store but don't have any specific need for Magento, which is heavier weight and generally more expensive to run and develop for.

However if you find a developer/designer that you like they will often have a specialism and you'd just go with that in most cases.

If you have any questions on the hosting side then feel free to get in touch.

For an eCommerce site I'd recommend specialised eCommerce hosting, which is more powerful than standard web hosting and can come with useful extras such as an SSL certificate to secure your store.
If you get your hosting and web design separate then you'll typically benefit from better hosting at a lower price.

Also happy to recommend some of our clients who may be able to help you.

Best of luck,

Dan

Hi Daniel,

I'm an E-Commerce and Internet Marketing Consultant and would be more than happy to help you. I was previously head of online at Jack Wills and Ann Summers, and I also work with many retail clients including Scribbler Cards, Fila, Smart Turnout and Hanro.

I fully understand the technical and commercial side of creating a great e-commerce site. I can also advise on the best platform for your business, content optimisation, SEO, how best to market it from day one, on-site conversion and customer loyalty. I work with a great team of developers who are affordable too.

More than happy to chat through some ideas.

Matt

Daniel - it all depends on multiple factors.

Your budget and requirements.
What functionality you require.
How many products you sell (i.e. how big the site will be)
Whether you want a design, build, hosting and support contract after.
If you're looking for a build from scratch or someone using a template/theme.

You can pay anywhere from as little as a few thousands pounds for a template to £50k (and much more but for your first ecommerce website I mean) for a bespoke built site. We build Magento websites, which, as mentioned previously, is a little more expensive - but its the best open source platform around and we feel it offers far superior functionality.

You've obviously been inundated with offers - If you need any advice, feel free to drop us an email.
