I woke up this morning to find dozens of letters in my mailbox, all from NatWest - each one covering 1 month of my transaction history going back years. I did not request this.

I called customer services and they have confirmed I didn't request it and they are completely confused as to why this was sent out. In fact they don't even see any evidence on their system that any statements have been sent out. They are completely unable to explain why.

Completely confused, if it were a mistake surely it would result in a number of customers experiencing this problem?

Anyone else had an issue like this before?

It may sound like I am complaining about nothing but if they can send out years’ worth of financial information without even knowing they have done so, I can't help but think it was just luck that it went to the right address!
