my posts are being deleted without warning or explanation?

I don't think the mods have got the time to explain why every single post has been deleted.

I would imagine that you broke some forum rules, or maybe they viewed your post as spam.

The "read before posting" sticky in that forum reads:

Oh ok I apologies for that one, that was my mistake in putting it in the wrong place.
Shouldn't have been simply moved to the correct forum thougth instead of being deleted?

That number was a time limited special offer as the memorable numbers don't come up that often and when they do they tend to go quickly....

We try to eliminate those offers - But I guess we can't check everywhere in the world!

Don't forget there ARE some cracking offers made uniquely to UKBF members as well.

If a member says in the offer post it's exclusive to UKBF members then we aim to take them at their word.

There doesn't, and never has been a problem with my posts being spotted and getting deleted without explanation..I have on a couple of occassions now contacted the forum administrators but have received no replies.

Going back to a previous point why wasn't the post just moved to anouncements or press releases rather than being deleted?

I'm only raising these points as over the course of my membership ive had a few contentious decisions given against me regarding the removal of posts etc...At the same time i've watched similar posts and threads from other members go uncensored...

Actually I think it was in the right forum, it was deleted because it wasn't an exclusive offer. Again absolutely nothing personal Michael, it's just the forums rules.

Believe me, no-one goes un-moderated

If you do feel there is a post that shouldn't be in a certain forum feel free to click the 'Report this post' button at the top of each post and we will look at it and check.

If there was another obvious forum to move it to, I would have done so. If you werent able to put in the time to post it to a correct forum then I don't see why I should be expected to give up more of my time to do so.

No, theres a number of people who do offer free numbers Michael, of course there are no limitations to who can offer them - no-one suggested there was. :|

You know the point i am trying to make, i'll watch and see how many of the other (as i said, almost all) posts that are offering things that arn't unique to UKBF members, as the rules say they should, get deleted.....
I'm sure it wont be many, if any, or will you be true to your word and that of impartiality?

Yes Michael it said IF because I'm trying to get out of the office to spend time with my kids before they goto bed - and I know what it's like when I get into the office on a Monday - hence I didn't want to make a promise something I couldn't keep.

Lets get this straight, I didn't delete your thread - but I would have done it if Duane hadn't because it simply wasn't an offer unique to UKBF.

Not only was it spam but it just linked through to your site which seems at first glance to just be an affiliate site for http://www.switchboardfree.co.uk (as far as I am aware) - If you are actually Switchboard free then I sincerely apologise - but it doesn't look like it - so all the time you're posting on the forums that you've released this number blah blah - it's actually http://www.switchboardfree.co.uk running the offer.

The time issues I referred to in my PM were at a different time from the time issues around whenever your post was deleted. Time issues change (with time)

Thanks for all the links in the PM for other members posts - I will try and look at them - please don't worry about sending any more - it's probably easier to try and stay on top of the new ones posted than go back through the old stuff.

I'm not 100% sure of the point you're trying to make - whether you're saying your posts are being deleted unfairly, or if moderators are not impartial - on both accounts all I can say is I don't believe so but you should contact Ozzy (forum owner) if you have any concerns about this and he'll look into it.

I think you have a big enough bee in your bonnet about this to contact him direct and privately (Please)

Not sure of your point about being a reseller? If I where buying a service and selling it on or purchasing goods and selling them would that make a difference? The point here is are you suggesting, and i'm sure your not, that because I might be a reseller I have less of a real business than other members? I have almost 200 clients and am enjoyig a lot of success though smartnumber.co.uk, i just want to be treated fairly, thats all...

As you seem un unclear i will clarify the point for you....
You rightly say that it is easier to look at new posts and make a jugement about their suitability and yet all posts are new at some point and most, that arn't mine, slip through?
It would also appear that almost ALL of the offers are NOT unqique to UKBF and yet this is the reason mine was deleted??
So at present it is coming down to the opinion of certain moderators that don't like my posts and or service. This can be the only conclusion that I can draw as:
A) Its a similar service to ones that other members provide
B) I make similar offers to other members

When those two points are taken into consideration what other conclusion should I come to when my posts are deleted for a reason that others are not!?

As for contacting Ozzy as previously mentioned I have contacted the forum on a couple of occassions and been told once that it was being looked at but received no reply and just didn't receive a reply on the second contact.

Lastly, I recognise that the mods do a difficult job its just hard to take when your offers are the same as other peoples but yours are deleted and others arn't and the only explanation is that mine was spotted and the other 50 weren't...oh well.
I know your an intelligent bloke and understand exactly the point I am making, thanks for listening, I don't however expect the situation to change at least ive got it off my chest...

Like I said - Take it up with Ozzy in private - if he doesn't respond or you don't like what he says or the way the forums are run then you've got the choice to post again or not.

I'm also deleting the other posts you've made hinting at the integrity of the moderators in the moderators and defamation article thread.

If you have a problem with any moderator (including myself) and you want to make any accusations then feel free to do so - To Ozzy in private - this sort of thing never benefits from a public shouting match.

I'm locking this thread now - please do not bring this issue up in any further threads.
