My top favourite genre of music is Irish traditional and I have lots of CDs of different artists performing the same songs. It is always great to hear different interpretations, but I always have my favourites.
For example, no one sings Raglan Road as well as Sinead O'Connor, whereas the High Kings do an excellent version of Whiskey in the Jar, and Sean Doyle (not very well known) does the best Star of the County Down.
Something to chill out to on a tuesday evening.
Breton singer Denez Prigent - simply beautiful.
