Multiple Web shops and Paypal to one bank account... How's it done?

Hi all,
we're a busy mail order company, been trading for 5 years now and as part of our expansion plans for this year we're launching a couple of other websites selling similar bits, but with a different slant, in an effort to expand the market we sell to.
We take cards via Sagepay/Streamline and also Paypal.

My issue is that if people are dealing with a different trading name/website URL, they will expect their payment to be taken from that name.

I have this sorted for cards as we've got multiple merchant numbers, each with the relevant website name and each linked into our main bank account.

Paypal seems a different kettle of fish though.... I can set Paypal to show a differently branded payment page depending on which shop the customer's come through, but if they look on their paypal account history, they will see a name they didn't recognise/expect. I can't create multiple paypal accounts as the bank account details can only be registered with one paypal account.

How have other people got around this? Is there something we've overlooked?

thanks in advance,
James :)

Isn't it all down to the email address? I have 3 or 4 different sites going through to my one paypal account, and the name is shown as the email address.

My understanding is that I could send you 3 seperate paypal payments to your 3 or 4 seperate email addresses, but that if I looked at my paypal account history, they would all resolve to the same registered name for your account, whether that be business or personal.
I could be wrong though?

As Craig suggested, this is the only workaround you have unless you have completely separate bank accounts, email addresses and contact details for each PayPal account. This is a major faff though not just for setup but also administration...

Just make people very aware of what will appear on their statement and they won't be surprised.
