Multiple business types / SIC codes

I understand when registering a business (I believe for VAT) or annual statement, you need to provide a SIC code for your business. (I will be covering IT so I believe it's something like 62022)

I do however plan on doing buying + reselling via ecommerce of a multitude of products. Basically whatever I find that could make a profit

Can I "merge" what I'm doing under one business / SIC code. Or do I need to register multiple businesses

For example (Excluding licensing - assuming it's approved)

- Mobile Phone Repair + Alcohol Sales
Could these be part of the same LTD company, or would you need two seperate LTD companies

That's the query I'm trying to make (and no it's not what I'm planning)

SIC codes are given on a limited company's annual return (nothing to do with VAT) and are only used for statistical purposes. If you company trades is multiple different areas you can just list multiple SIC codes when filing the annual return.

Ah, thank you. That's fine then. I knew SIC codes were used, I guess it's just used to identify the areas you trade in nothing more.
